Christine Ohurougu

Christine Ohurougu

Former Olympic Champion Christine is one of the most decorated and celebrated athletes in the history of British athletics. She is the current World Champion over 400m and the reigning British record holder over the same distance. Christine claimed Olympic glory in Beijing in 2008 and followed that gold medal with an equally inspiring silver in London at the end of an injury-plagued season four years later. She became the first British female to win two World Championships, having also held the title in 2007, and is also the only British female to have claimed a hat-trick of gold medals at global events.
