  • Most memorable sporting moment: Standing on the podium hearing the National Anthem for the first time after winning the girls team relay in Bulgaria at the Youth B European Championships 2010 for Modern Pentathlon.
  • Most inspiring teacher at school: Mr Johnson, he was the teacher who introduced me into sport at primary school. I am grateful he spotted my talent and introduced me into the school cross country team and this where my journey began in sport all those many years ago.
  • Favourite sport to watch: I can’t pick one as I like to watch so many.
  • Favourite sport to take part in: Fencing.
  • Best advice given: You have to go out there and grab your dream! By working hard through the tough times as you will come through the other side smiling.
  • Tell me something unusual about yourself: I was on the Great Britain Squad for Modern Pentathlon from 2009-2013 competing at National, European and World competitions winning many titles along the way. I currently fence as a hobby around work and University. Later in life I would like to become a PE teacher, to give back my experiences and knowledge I have learnt in sport to the next generation.
