An introductory assembly should take place 1 to 3 weeks before the event, with resources provided by TSS.

Pupils will be informed of their Olympic, Paralympic or International sports guest; will be shown some simple fitness exercises, illustrated on this page, suitable for their ages and ability, which they will be invited to perform on the event day. For Super Gold sponsored events and with the consent from parents/guardians, pupils will be asked to collect sponsorship money from family and friends.

TSS will supply all sponsor forms and other information to ensure the smooth running of the event in the forthcoming weeks, with very little work required by the busy teacher.
