With a personal best of 11.05 seconds, Montell is the reigning British record holder over 100m. She achieved that feat in 2008, smashing a time that had previously remained intact for a quarter of a century. Montell won Commonwealth Games gold in the 4x100m relay in 2010, two years after representing Great Britain at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
