Serita is a double international athlete competing in Athletics and Bobsleigh. A former heptathlete who won gold at the European Junior Combined Events Championships. In 2011 Serita joined the Bobsleigh world class performance programme. Unfortunately during testing she broke her back during a crash. After life saving operations to reconstruct her spine Serita demonstrated unrelenting determination to recover and compete again. Against all odds and remarkably Serita claimed a bronze medal in the British Championships in 2013. Serita's journey and story demonstrates even the most serious of set backs can be overcome.
